Originally from New Jersey, I moved to California 15 years ago and have never looked
Over the past few years, I have been developing my own style of imaging. When going
to museums and galleries, I found that traditional photography began to bore me.
It looked so "20th Century."
That is when I began to experiment with more HDR (High Dynamic Range) images as well
as other software imaging filters that were more than just Photoshop. I believe the
final image doesn't have to have any resemblance to the original capture. It should
be as I perceived it and my impression of what I saw. Sound like the impressionists
from the 1880's to 1920's?
Well, yes! That is how I have been approaching most of the images I capture.
I am often at many of the local beaches in Los Angeles capturing images of surfers.
